However, the transition to the new season was not without its hiccups. The anticipated server downtime, usually lasting around 3-4 hours, was prolonged due to unforeseen issues. After a silence of five hours, Epic Games announced an additional eight hours of downtime, later extended by two more hours. To manage the influx of eager players, a queue system was implemented to stabilize server load.
With the servers now operational, players can dive into the new season, thanks to the deployment of the 4.17 / 1.000.128 patch. Although this update was minor, it was essential for players to download it to access the game. Epic Games acknowledges that there are still several issues to be ironed out, suggesting that further updates are on the horizon to ensure a smooth gaming experience.
