Fortnite’s Latest Update and Server Downtime
Fortnite fans are gearing up for the game’s latest major update, v29.20, which brings an exciting collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender. The update includes new skins for Katara, Zuko, and Toph, along with pickaxes, back blings, and an emote. However, Aang’s set will require a separate event pass purchase.
As part of the update process, Fortnite servers will be temporarily down on April 9th, 2024, starting at 4 AM ET. Matchmaking will be disabled shortly before, and services are expected to resume by approximately 6 AM ET. The downtime will also pave the way for the introduction of Avatar Mythic items, set to go live on April 12th.
While there’s no new content announced for LEGO Fortnite, players can look forward to the inaugural season of Rocket Racing. Additionally, as with previous updates, a slew of new skins and cosmetics are anticipated to be leaked during the server downtime, offering a sneak peek at what’s to come.
Stay tuned for further updates and coverage of all the new content as it becomes available.
