World Food Prize Foundation’s New Initiative

The DialogueNEXT series aims to foster empowerment, equity, and innovation in agriculture, reflecting on Dr. Borlaug’s impact through the Green Revolution. Terry Branstad, President⁣ of the Foundation,⁣ emphasizes the goal of driving progress towards eradicating world⁣ hunger⁤ through collaborative discussions.

Empowering Women in Agriculture

Mashal Husain, COO of the Foundation, highlights‌ the importance​ of inclusive dialogue and the critical ‍role of women in achieving a⁣ sustainable and equitable world. The series will continue with another event ⁢on July 10-11, 2024, at CIMMYT ‍in Mexico, where Dr. Borlaug’s groundbreaking ⁤work on “miracle ‍wheat” began, which significantly​ contributed to global food supplies.
